Privacy Policy
The Fishermen’s Hall Trust (also known as The Friends of The Fishermen’s Hall) was established following a public meeting on January 4th 2018 to begin the process of a Community Asset Transfer of the Fishermens Hall back into the ownership of the people of Buckie.
The members of the committee have worked tirelessly since that time preparing to lease the hall from Moray Council as an interim arrangement pending a full Community Asset Transfer in up to two years time.
We gained our charitable status on 15th June 2018 and from Sunday 1st July 2018 we are the leaseholders and operators of the hall.
The journey to undertake a Community Asset Transfer is a long one but working together with and for the community we can make the Fishermen's Hall a sustainable, open and inclusive facility for generations to come.
