The Fishermen's Hall is run by the community of Buckie through the Fishermen's Hall Trust. It is the second largest hall in the Moray area after Elgin Town Hall and is able to support a wide range of events from weddings to coffee mornings to group meetings.

Buckie’s Fishermen’s Hall approved for Community Asset Transfer
The Fishermen’s Hall Trust was established in 2018 to prepare a request to take the Hall, which was built in 1886 for and by the fishing community, into community ownership.
Chair of Moray Council’s Corporate Committee, Cllr Aaron McLean, said: “This has been a long process for the Trust, owing to covid pandemic related delays, so I’m delighted for the community that this transfer has been approved.
“I wish the Trust and the wider Buckie community the very best for the future of the Fishermen’s Hall and look forward to seeing it flourish.”
